The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for Accounting Reconciliations, Invoicing and AP & AR management, credit-insurance and customer credit rating management, invoice factoring as well as CRM management. You’ll be reporting to our VP Finance & HR and working closely with the Operations team and Sales team to ensure full accounting compliance is met. Our ideal candidate is multitasking and comfortable taking initiative on an everyday basis. There is lots of room for growth, so we’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to do some great things. Responsibilities: - Manage all journal entries and analyze all ledger accounts and reconcile all statements for monthly closing.
- Manual journal inter-company transactions in our ERP and accounting software (Xero). Conduct timely bank reconciliations for corporate card, bank and PayPal statements.
- Setup new customers, request credit limits, monitor debt levels.
- Issue invoices, monitor accounts receivables, input manual invoices/credit notes.
- Maintain and process purchase invoices, bills. Generate accounts payable report for weekly payout runs
- Handle bookkeeping, assisting with tax preparation, audits, and identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Act as a point of contact between internal departments and accounting, serving as a liaison between accounting and external parties, including clients, suppliers, and lenders.
Education and Qualifications: - 1+ years relevant work experience in a consumer product company in the accounting department
- Relative education qualifications/trainings in Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Experience in import and export business.
- High degree of organization and ability to set targets and meet them on a weekly, monthly and yearly timescale
