      THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies for the RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE PROGRAM AEC EEC.1Y for the WINTER 2022 Semester
      April 26, 2022 – August 30, 2022 (RRB 19) EVENING (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 18:00 -21:30 & Saturday 8:30-12:00).
      TYPE OF CONTRACTS: CHARGE DE COURS (À LA LEÇON) (1-2.12)
      COURSE: 221-001-AB*
      TITLE: Introduction to Real Estate Brokerage
      HOURS: 60
      SECTION(S): one (1)
      DISCLAIMER: Courses will be offered in a hybrid/blended format until further notice.
      BUILDING AND PUBLIC WORKS (221)
      Bachelor’s or equivalent * degree in an appropriate field
      OR
      AEC in Real Estate with 5 – 7 years’ pertinent experience.
      • Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems

      AND
      Several years related teaching experience at the post – secondary level PREFERRED.

      • In addition to basic requirements above, candidates must be:

      Be a Licensed Broker with current Real Estate experience gained within the last 7 years, and be current members in good standing with OACIQ for the following courses:

      • 221-001-AB*

      N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.
      Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
